Cathedral Sweater

Worn by no congregation in particular.

Someone knit a cathedral into wool and then forgot why. The spires bleed down the front like the building itself is collapsing in slow motion, stitch by stitch, floor by floor. A cross sits at the collar, small enough to miss, heavy enough to mean something. Oversized by design. Sleeves cut wide. Cropped at the waist so the ruin sits exactly where it should. Wear it to places you wouldn't have been welcome.
