Two waistbands. Because one was never the point.
The waistband doubles on itself. The first one holds the jeans up, the second one exists. That's all the explanation it gets. Flares soft at the cuff, rise sits low the way things sat low before they were told not to, wash distributed unevenly across both legs like the piece already knew what it was going to be used for.
Distressed minimally at the knees. No graphics, no patches, no explanations. Just cut, wash, and drape.

Fit Note
Low-rise sits below the natural waist. If between sizes, size up for the drape to work. Flare falls from the knee down, designed to pool slightly over shoe. Intended for wearers 5'5" to 5'10" (165–178cm) for proper flare drop. Shorter frames may need hemming.
